Listed food sector company British American Tobacco Company Limited (BATBC) is going for new investment. The company will construct a new warehouse at a cost of Tk 150 crore.
The decision was taken at the company’s board meeting held on Thursday (September 21) on the digital platform. This information is known from company sources.
According to sources, the company will construct this new warehouse at the factory premises located in Gazipur. The estimated cost for this is Tk. 150 crores and 80 lakhs.

The discussed investment will be financed through own funds and bank loans. However, it was not possible to know how much of this will be financed through own funds and how much through bank loans. It has been said that the matter will be finalized in the light of the cash floor of the company.
