On the third business day of the week, trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended with mixed responses in the market indices. However, the overall value of transactions in terms of money increased. This information was provided by DSE sources.
According to the sources, on Tuesday (December 10), the main index of the DSE, the ‘DSEX’, decreased by 0.14 points, standing at 5,166 points.
Additionally, the ‘DSES’ index increased by 0.42 points to reach 1,154 points, while the ‘DS-30′ index fell by 0.43 points, positioning at 1,903 points.
The total value of shares and units traded on the DSE today amounted to 383 crore 4 lakh 73 thousand taka, which is an increase from the previous trading day’s 278 crore 66 lakh taka.
A total of 405 companies’ shares and units changed hands on Tuesday. Out of these, the share prices of 185 companies increased, while 147 companies saw a decrease. The share prices of 73 companies remained unchanged.
