Former minister and ex-president of the district Awami League, Abdul Latif Biswas, has been arrested by a joint task force in Belkuchi, Sirajganj.
The arrest was made on Sunday (January 5) around noon during a raid at his residence in the Kamarpara area of Belkuchi municipality.
Belkuchi Police Station’s Investigation Officer Abdul Barek confirmed the matter to Kalbela, stating, “I have heard about the detention of Abdul Latif Biswas. However, I cannot provide details at this moment.”
