14 people have died from dengue infection across the country from 8 am on Friday to 8 am on Saturday (in one day). During this time 2865 patients were admitted to the hospital.
Among the affected, 814 people were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka and 2051 people were admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka.

This information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday (September 23).
It is said in the notification that at present, a total of 10 thousand 572 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. There are currently 3,794 dengue patients in Dhaka’s public and private hospitals and 6,778 dengue patients in other hospitals.
This year, 1 lakh 84 thousand 717 patients have been admitted to hospital and treated with dengue throughout the country. Out of this, 78 thousand 103 people were treated in Dhaka and 1 lakh 6 thousand 614 people outside Dhaka.

Among the affected, 1 lakh 73 thousand 252 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home. 73 thousand 713 in Dhaka and 99 thousand 539 outside Dhaka have recovered and returned home.
893 people have died due to dengue this year.
