The Election Commission (EC) will close all services related to the National Identity Card from today Tuesday (September 19) morning to tomorrow Wednesday (September 20) noon due to the maintenance of the National Identity Card (NID) server.
Election Commission (EC) Information System Management Division (NID) Assistant Programmer Aminul Islam confirmed this information.
He said, server maintenance is ongoing. All NID related services will be closed till 2 PM on September 20 due to ongoing maintenance work. Sincerely sorry for the inconvenience.
Earlier, NID’s servers were shut down for about 38 hours from 12:00 PM on August 14 to prevent cyber attacks.
According to the latest updated data of 2022, the number of voters in the country is 11 crore 91 lakh 51 thousand 440 people. Among them, 6 crore 4 lakh 45 thousand 724 are male voters. And women voters are 5 crore 87 lakh 4 thousand 879 people. Besides, there are 837 third gender voters.
